ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्। उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्॥
oṃ tryambakaṃ yajāmahe sugandhiṃ puṣṭivardhanam| urvārukamiva bandhanānmṛtyormukṣīya māmṛtāt||
ॐ हम उस तीन नेत्रों वाले भगवान शिव की पूजा करते हैं, जो सुगंधित हैं और पोषण को बढ़ाने वाले हैं। जैसे ककड़ी अपने बंधन से मुक्त हो जाती है, वैसे ही हमें मृत्यु के बंधनों से मुक्त करें, लेकिन अमरत्व से नहीं।
Om, we worship the three-eyed one, who is fragrant and nourishes all beings. May he liberate us from death for the sake of immortality, just as the cucumber is freed from its stem.
